Netflix is finally officially launched in UK and Ireland and being able to stream their content will set you back 5.99 pounds / 6.99 Euro per month. If you’re from UK or Ireland, you can ask for a free trial period of 1 month. It will be usable both on PCs and on game consoles, Android and iOS phones, Smart TVs from Samsung, LG’s Blu-ray players, as well as smart TV adaptors released by Roku, Western Digital and Philips.

A new version of the Archos G9 has reached the UK these days, the one which has a 250GB hard drive inside, instead of the 16GB available on the other models. The price is £249 for it, which is £50 more than the next model, but that storage capacity is probably worth the price. This 8 inch tablet comes with Android 3.2 Honeycomb on it and it’s a bit thicker than the other Archos G9 tablets, by an extra 3mm (15mm vs 12mm). [
